Nicola Costa 

President

He graduated in Economics and Commerce and holds a diploma in piano from the Genoa Conservatory. Nicola Costa became President of Costa Armatori in 1982 and led Costa Crociere from 1986 to 1997. During these years he developed the Genoa Aquarium, which became a symbol of the city with 1.3 million visitors a year. After the sale to Carnival, he devoted himself to culture: he is Vice-President of the Bioparco di Roma, President of the Fondazione Acquario di Genova, the Giovine Orchestra Genovese and the European Paganini Route from 2023.

Monica Amari Staglieno

Italy

Essayist and expert in cultural policies and processes. She is vice president of the European Paganini Route and co-founder in 2001 of the Festival Paganiniano di Carro. In 2008, she created ARMES Progetti, a group of independent researchers and is president of the Movement for Cultural Rights and Duties. Among his latest publications: “Elogio dei diritti e dei doveri culturali. A difesa della democrazia” (Rubbettino, 2023).

Professional with a diverse academic background in Central and Eastern European law and history. Since 2014, he has held the position of President of the Association of Historical Ages in Debrecen. He is also managing director of the company The Value of the Past Ltd. His professional and personal values are deeply rooted in family, cultural heritage, the arts, sport and social responsibility.
